Black Girl Long Hair Natural Hair Meetup Chicago

Leila of BGLHOnline.com organizes a huge natural hair meetup in Chicago every so often and it is always great fun to shop, mingle, and chat with other chicas who are representing a full spectrum of black hair. There are always great skincare products, clothing, handmade jewelry, and books to buy!  I used to vend at the events when I worked with Big Girl Cosmetics, but this was the first time in a while that I got to go and only be a spectator and not a vendor.

Super fun event and always nice to chit chat with a bunch of cool girls :)  Afterwards, we went to the delicious Pizza Capri in Hyde Park Chicago.  Deep dish is a delicacy of the gods, in my opinion, lol!  Just a yummy perfect food:

On a good note, hair is growing so well!  I did a length check today and it's down my back, even though with natural hair shrinkage it looks shorter because of the tighter curls:

If I ever straighten it, whew chile!  Let's just say
